There are times in a person's life that they said that they don't have any knowledge of any book with words to describe a feeling.
Well I dare to say that I have one secret book that I keep in secret, and where I write what I feel about what happens in my life and about people whom I love or "hate".
Inside that book I have lots of pages written between "The Sky and Earth" with the help of a rainbow pencil. Those pages are about my Mother.
The day that, inside her, I began to hear her voice and her heart beating for the very first time, she told me " I love you deeply my little one".
When I was born, she said lovely words and her voice struk me like a lovely melody for the ears and I cherish them in my soul. She was by my side when I had stoomachaches. She spent endless nights without awake by my side.
Years later she accompanied me on my first day of school and facced all the problems by my side. During the adolescence she always heard and understood me. She always gave me stregth and support for all of my dreams.
In adulthood she taught me how to become a woman and now I'm happy because of being her mirror and I hope to be able to give continuety to her life's work.

Writer's Corner - February 2008
Talking about education is to discuss a few issues like the struggle between teachers and government, the lack of respect between students and teachers. So who or what is responsible for this? There's something that is missing and maybe it's the essencial besides the respect for each other, the lack of interest to change what is wrong, lack of colaboration and lack of dialogue.
The government is trying to adapt the system but teachers won't agree with it's rules, maybe because they don't know what's really going on. Our schools have bad teachers, so the government decided to evaluate them, once more they don't want that. Students behave badly it makes the "Students regulation", but suddenly we saw a video that showed an unfortunate scene of lack of respect in the classroom. So what's going on?
I think there's a solution for all of this, but it is needed to be worked on by all, work that no one or just a few people want to have and that's where the problem begins. Well at least I think that when we are working, if people talk to each other and there's organization, that's the best way to be successful. Unfortunately we are talking about dealing with teenagers, people that need to be educated and guided. We are also talking about a complex psichological system, a chain reaction.
In this case a lot of people are involved, family, friends, school and government. Family is the first social factor where the child grows and the most imporrtant one in education. Friends that the child or teenager has are sometimes as important as family and they can guide a teenager to a good or a bad path.
Teachers, those ones that I think are good can make the whole difference, if the teachers are conscious about the real meaning of teaching. It's not just open a book and explain the subject, it's a lot more than that, above all is being a friend. Think about it. What a teenager look for? To be heard, understood, but the excuses that teachers give that classes are too big so they can't pay attention to students and to their problems.
Have small classes? That's completely out of question, because the government doesn't have any more money to pay teachers. So it decides to improve the system with unacceptable laws. Small classes mean more teachers, more control, more respect and attention, less educational problems.

Writer's Corner - January 2008
Every year at the very begining of a new one, people think about all the positive and negative aspects that happened in their lives, but, above all, plans are made for the new year.
In this new year I have made plans too. For instance, I would like to work and study hard to have a good grade in my English course. That's my first aim, because I depend on it to get the job that I want, work in a school with children.
I would also like to have some vacations to rest a little, but at the same time I would like to continue with English course to practise it so I wo'nt forget it. This of course if I can finish it till July.
Well, as a person's life is not only work, but also to have some fun, I would like to find someone who completes me.
Just hope to do my best to make my aims happen this year and change my life because it's too boring.
*As we already are in 2009, I can say that I finish part of the course and , thanks to the Wall Street people help, I was able to made a dream come true. A big thanks to them, specially Adelia and Patrícia. I also want to thanks my family for their love and support (it looks like I won some price :D). In fact I did. :) Asia ,my Polish friend thanks, I miss you.
